Tattoo Aftercare: general guidelines
*Remove bandage in two hours
*With clean hands, wash your tattoo with liquid anti-bacterial soap and hot water
*Do not apply ointment until the following day
*On day two continue to keep your tattoo clean by washing it twice daily. You may now begin to use a thin amount of Aquaphor included in your aftercare kit
*Use the ointment only as needed, 1-2 times daily.
*After 3-4 days of Aquaphor you may switch to an unscented lotion. Lotion your tattoo when it needs moisturizing otherwise leave it alone.
*As your skin heals it will begin to peal and may itch. DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo.

Piercing Aftercare
*What you will need for your new piercing:
2 teaspoon sea salt
1 gallon of water
Cotton balls & swabs
*Mix 2 tsp sea salt into the gallon of water, voila! You have made your own saline solution.
Step 1: Wash hands thoroughly with liquid anti-bacterial soap and warm water.
Step 2: Moisten a cotton ball with the saline solution.
Step 3: Soak the piercing with the wet cotton ball for 5 minutes.
Step 4: After the piercing has been soaked, take the cotton swab & clear away any debris from the piercing.
Do this twice daily.
DO NOT:
Touch or move the jewelry
Put harmful products on your piercing (ie. Antibacterial soaps, Bactine, alcohol, Neosporin, peroxide or ointments) as this will only prolong your healing processes.
